OMG I just watched "Smitten" on PBS ---MUST WATCH!

"Smitten" is about a contemporary art collector in his eighties who has a 2,000 piece collection!
He says he likes to buy art from artists who have never sold anything before! You guys have to check this out when it rebroadcasts, the collection is amazing. The collector's name is Rene di Rosa, he lives in Napa Valley.

The Body as the Canvas

Here is my final painting for the project. My concept is that the body may be used as a canvas. In the painting you can see branches painted an the canvas as well as painted on the body.

I was messing around with charcoal and this is what came out of it.
